Apparently, Nokia E7 features a 3.x inch capacitive touchscreen with multitouch support, a powerful camera sensor with dual-LED flash, a landscape QWERTY slider keyboard, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and even more.

For Nokia E Series targets business-oriented consumers, it’ll certainly come with Nokia Push mail technology, full (or atleast HTML) browser support, IM clients, support for Ovi Maps and other Ovi services  among other interesting features.

Nokia’s Symbian OS platform that once interested a larger portion o’ the smartphone goers is now already sinking. We do not imply any calumny by this statement, but given the spreading canopy of the ever-growing success scales of iPhone and other Android phones, Nokia’s market hold is obviously declining at a steep rate.

Although Nokia has already ventured into the touchscreen-based smartphones, it is yet to substantiate any success from the existing line of touch-based phones. The Nokia N97, N97 mini, 5800, etc did quite well, but just that is not sufficient to keep the Symbian flag high-post and waving.

Considering all these, Nokia’s attempt to reformulate its E-Series lineup of business phones with the launch of Nokia E7 is expected to be a scintillating one. Unless Nokia plans to reinvent its markets with the Nokia Symbian^ OS and Intel-Meego OS stuffed phones, it’s hard to predict any good fortune coming its way. But, as always, nothing can be said about the outcome, so we’ll just wait and watch.
